🏨 Accommodation
Barcelo Lanzarote Active Resort
This spacious, inviting resort is drenched in Canary Island sunshine, and it's just been fully renovated. Perfect for active leisure in Lanzarote, this hotel appeals to families, couples, and friends alike. A choice of sizeable family rooms – with space for the little ones to run free – provide a great base, but it’s in the range of facilities for children that the Barcelo Lanzarote Active Resort really shines for families. There are separate children’s swimming pools, indoor and outdoor play areas, plus kids’ clubs divided by age group. But this hotel isn’t just geared towards younger guests, as its choice of sporting and wellness options prove. Anyone looking to integrate fitness into their holiday plans can take advantage of the hotel’s cycling centre, which features bike hire (additional charge) and free bike storage. There are also Les Mills classes, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, and a well-equipped gym. You will find marked running circles around the hotel so you can run and enjoy the outdoors. There's also a wellness area for rejuvenating rather than working out, and spacious sun terraces top with loungers for sunbathing sessions.
