At the five-star Akti Imperial Deluxe Spa Resort by Wyndham, bigger is better. From its trio of inviting pools to its eight restaurants and five bars, it’s fair to say this luxurious hotel pulls out all the stops for its guests. Plus, the property is perched in an idyllic spot, with views over the Aegean Sea. And if you fancy taking in the sights and sounds of Rhodes Town – the island’s capital – it’s just a five-minute cab ride away. Foodies, this one is for you – you’ll have the choice of eight restaurants. The main restaurant is a buffet set-up serving around-the-world dishes, and then you’ve got four themed restaurants, specialising in the likes of seafood, Greek, Asian, and Italian cuisine. There are a further three restaurants that keep snacks and light bites coming throughout the day – and night – so you’ll never be left feeling peckish. I’ve included this one for its stylish, modern feel and particularly its fantastic All Inclusive dining choice, with several restaurants offering plenty of variety throughout the week. It’s a great option for families without feeling overly child-focused, with multiple pools, entertainment and the beach just across the way. Another big plus is its location close to Rhodes Town, perfect for an evening wander or a little exploring beyond the resort. It's a bigger resort though and some reviews can be a little mixed, but generally very well reviewed and loved by my clients who stayed here.
