A spectacular setting awaits you at the Turquoise Hotel Oludeniz, a mish-mash of terracotta-roofed buildings sandwiched between pine-cloaked mountains and azure waves. It’s less than a 10-minute walk to the nearest beach and Olu Deniz centre from here, and the iconic Blue Lagoon is easily accessible. Three swimming pools sit shoulder-to-shoulder in the centre of the grounds, and come with an envelope of palm and pine trees and fuchsia bougainvillea blooms. There’s something for everyone here. You can book in for massage treatments at the hotel spa, and onsite activities come in the form of aqua aerobics, yoga, minigolf and darts. Children have their own programme of events courtesy of the kids’ club, and they can make friends while enjoying cooking sessions, arts and crafts and drama classes. Dining-wise, you can take meals in the buffet restaurant, where international fare is on offer, or head up to the rooftop terrace for an a la carte dinner with a view. There’s a mix of dishes available here, spanning Indian, Turkish and Mexican fare. A poolside bar dishes up light bites in between meals, as well.
