🏨 Accommodation
Riu Palace Boavista
The Riu Palace Boavista scores top marks for style, and it’s wrapped up in a landscape of sand dunes and sugar-white beaches. This place is perched on Praia das Dunas, alongside its sister hotel, Riu Karamboa, which wouldn’t look out of place next to a sultan’s palace. And you’ll be within a 10-minute drive of the island’s capital, Sal Rei. Head inside this place, and you’ll find interiors fit for royalty – think polished marble floors and contemporary design features. It's got an impressive collection of bars and restaurants, too.
